Grab your poodle skirts and leather jackets—we are taking a trip back to the Nifty Fifties! On Friday, February 27th, The Dance Den transforms into the ultimate 1950s Sock Hop for a night of classic tunes and retro rhythms.

We will be spinning the golden era's best harmonies, from high-energy Rock & Roll hits perfect for East Coast Swing and Jive, to those swoon-worthy Doo-Wop ballads made for a romantic Rumba or slow Waltz. Whether you want to hand-jive, do "The Stroll," or just cruise around the floor, this playlist is guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

What to expect:

  • The Tunes: A mix of 50s Doo-Wop, early Rock & Roll, and Motown classics.

  • The Look: Costumes are highly encouraged! Think Pink Ladies, T-Birds, polka dots, saddle shoes, and rolled-up jeans.
