A proud first-generation Dominican American and Political Science student at USF, she’s passionate about building community and creating a space where dancers feel supported and seen. Outside of work and school, she loves cooking up new recipes, getting in a good gym session, and indulging in a little retail therapy. Whether she’s managing the schedule or simply sharing a smile, she’s all about making the studio feel like a second home.

Liz

A multifaceted dancer, choreographer, educator, and artist enriching the Tampa Bay community. Raised on early 2000s Hip Hop and 1970s music, Liz has been grooving to the beat since childhood. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Dance from the University of Tampa, where she mastered various styles, including:

By 15, she was grooving to hip hop and R&B, and soon after, shuffle dancing stole her heart 💖. Now, with 6 ½ years of shuffling under her belt and 4 years of teaching experience, Emiliana brings a fierce blend of Melbourne shuffling, cutting shapes, and hip hop flair to the dance floor 🔥. For her, dance is therapy—a way to escape the mind and fully embrace the moment ✨. Emiliana’s passion is helping others find that same freedom and joy, no matter their age, background, or experience. With roots in competitive dance, Sam's journey began in her youth and led her to earn a BFA in Modern Dance at the University of South Florida, plus a minor in psychology (she's got the moves and the mind! 💃🧠). As team captain of her high school Pom Dance Team for two years, she discovered a deep love for Pom and even joined the USF Sundolls during her college days! 🌟

After graduation, Sam didn't just stop there. She danced her way across the globe—studying in Paris, Berlin, and northern Israel—before landing in Chicago, where she graced stages with Solarium Dance Company and Trifecta Dance Collective. Chicago was also where she began her yoga certification, learning from some of the best in the city 🧘‍♀️💫.
